I will prioritize all infrastructure needs in Ward 6, ensuring that roads, ditches, water, sewer, and bridges are properly maintained, repaired, and replaced when necessary. By working closely with city leadership, county officials, and state and federal representatives, I will push for the funding and resources needed to improve and expand our infrastructure.
Supporting Our First Responders:
Our Police and Fire Departments provide essential services that keep our city safe. As your representative, I will work alongside city leaders to ensure our first responders have the resources, staffing, and competitive pay they need to continue protecting Gulfport at the highest level.
Economic Growth & Development:
A strong local economy benefits everyone. I will champion smart economic development by identifying existing challenges, streamlining regulations, and fostering a business-friendly environment. Gulfport must be known as a place where businesses can grow, create jobs, and invest in the future.
Enhancing Community Amenities:
As Mississippi’s second-largest city, Gulfport should offer exceptional amenities for residents of all ages. I will advocate for the maintenance and improvement of our current parks, recreational facilities, and public spaces while securing funding for new amenities that enhance our quality of life.
Building Community Pride:
A great community is built on the efforts of those who call it home. I will establish volunteer committees made up of Ward 6 residents to identify local needs, organize community events, and coordinate clean-up initiatives. Together, we can take pride in making our neighborhoods safer, cleaner, and more vibrant.
Growing Gulfport’s Tourism Industry:
Tourism is a major driver of Gulfport’s economy. I will collaborate with industry leaders to expand tourism opportunities, attract new visitors, and highlight all that our city has to offer. By investing in tourism, we can create jobs, support local businesses, and strengthen our city’s economic future.
